AVON POLICE DEPARTMENT
The Avon Police Department Citizens Police Academy began on April 18th. Participants will embark upon an 8-week program where they learn what it is really like to be an Avon Police Officer. The course offers instruction and familiarization in all aspects of the job including emergency vehicle operation, firearms, traffic stops, and many other areas of law enforcement.
THE AVON POLICE DEPARTMENT NATIONAL NIGHT OUT AGAINST CRIME COMMITTEE HAS ALREADY BEGAN THE PLANNING STAGES OF THIS YEAR'S EVENT, AND WE FULLY EXPECT THIS YEAR'S EVENT TO BE EVEN BIGGER AND BETTER THAN LAST YEAR WITH A FEW NEW TWISTS AND SURPRISES!
